President Rodrigo Duterte has endorsed the tandem of Senator Bong Go and his daughter Sara Duterte for their presidential and vice-presidential bids.
Duterte made the endorsement in a ‘casual’ dinner with over a hundred lawmakers in Malacañang.

House Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero said that the president initially wanted to make the event politics-free.
But DIWA Representative Michael Aglipay, said Duterte asked them to support himself, Bong Go, and Sara Duterte.
“Standing order, SBG. Sara for 2022 in his (Duterte’s) speech,” Aglipay said in a text message to reporters.

Go also made an appearance to the dinner.
There were no formal invitations according to some lawmakers. (TDT)
