The UAE has fared better than other countries in dealing with COVID-19 through its high vaccination rate.

As per the Bloomberg COVID-19 Resilience Ranking for October, the UAE has ranked third globally and first regionally in dealing with COVID-19.
This reflects the efficiency of the UAE as a leading global model in managing the crisis.

In the country, healthcare professionals continue to conduct hundreds of thousands of PCR tests daily and are also continuing to provide free vaccination for all eligible members of the society helping contain the spread of the virus and reduce infections and deaths.
Besides this, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has also announced the authorization of the emergency use of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for those in the age group of 5-11 years. (AW)
