The National Center of Meteorology reports that UAE witnessed heavy fog on the early morning of Monday.
In a series of tweets, the weather of bureau said that the fog will affect the horizontal visibility in some areas.
“The visibility will decrease further at times over some internal and coastal areas,” the NCM warned in a tweet.
Parts or Abu Dhabi and Dubai saw the heavy fogging in the morning and persisted until 9AM.
The bureau said that visibility is also affected in Al Dhafra region and Al Ain.
Fog was also observed in Abu Dhabi – Dubai Road.
Authorities remind the public to adhere to safety driving protocols due to fog. (TDT)
