The UAE authorities have announced the fine that ranges from AED 1,000 to AED 50,000 for violation of quarantine instructions, non-compliance of safety rules like use of mask as well as violation of social distancing norms, and spreading fake news on COVID-19.
UAE Attorney-General, Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, issued the list on Saturday, August 21, and has urged residents to abide by the law and follow the rules for their own safety and that of others.

AED50,000:
*Violating mandatory hospitalization or refraining from taking the prescribed treatment.
*Failure to adhere to home quarantine instructions or to get retested as per health procedures.
*Failure to adhere to the quarantine facility instructions or getting retested according to health procedures.
AED 20,000:
*Evading the implementation of precautionary measures or avoiding quarantine instructions.
*Cheating or providing incorrect information
*Deliberate nondisclosure of details of individuals coming to the country from abroad or not completing quarantine procedures.
*Recruiting workers or domestic servants from abroad and not disclosing their arrival or not subjecting them to quarantine procedures.

AED10,000 fine:
* Not registering on contact tracing app or not wearing tracking devices or deliberately damaging them.
AED1,000 fine:
*Losing or damaging e-tracking devices or accessories.
There are also fines that would be imposed on hacking applications or systems related to tracking quarantine cases or refraining from notifying the call center about the loss or damage of the e-tracking device after 24 hours from the time the connection had been lost with the quarantined person.
