A woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl while she aboard a motorized boat in Cuyo, Palawan.
Rossy Merry Garcia, 39, was on her way to a hospital in the neighboring island Saturday afternoon as she went into labor.

Garcia, a resident of Sitio Pamitinan in Barangay Lubid did not manage to make it to the hospital as she gave 15 minutes before reaching the port.
Luckily she was rescued by the Bureau of Fire Protection personnel and was transferred to Cuyo District Hospital.
Garcia named her baby girl Fira, in honor of the Cuyo BFP personnel that helped her. (RA)
