A representative from the Integrated Transport Centre confirmed that several buses operating within the Abu Dhabi Island have been put on hold, and that the buses will continue operations once the fog clears.
This isn’t the first time Abu Dhabi’s public buses were suspended temporarily – due to recent fog formations in the past weeks, residents have had to wait around 9:00 am to 10:00 am for the capital’s public buses to resume operations.
An advisory from the National Center for Meteorology states that the entire country faces visibility of less than 1000M.
