Health authorities in the UAE have confirmed that the presence of the new coronavirus strain that originated from the United Kingdom.
“It has been proven that there are limited cases in the country of the new emerging strain of the coronavirus in Britain and received from abroad,” said the official statement from the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
Authorities urged the public to adhere to all precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone living in the country.
They also extended their gratitude to the continuous efforts of the UAE’s healthcare workers to contain the virus and limit its spread.
