Call center agent May Ann Maregillano has survived a traumatic abuse from her male live-in partner early this month.
Her live-in partner named Sandy poured boiling water on her face resulting in second degree burns. The suspect also cut May’s hair and sliced her ear.
“Hindi po makatao ang ginawa niya sa akin,” May Ann recalled in an interview with GMA’s Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.
The incident happened on September 7. May recalled: “Ibubuhos niya po sana sa mukha ko kaso yung kamay ko pinansalo ko muna sa ulo ko,” May said.
She recounted that everything started well for them as a couple, but his partner suddenly changed and became violent a month after they decided to live together in one house.
“Bigla niyang sisilipin sino ka-chat ko. May tendency tong tao na manakit kasi sobrang seloso niya,” May said.
She once tried to leave him, but she found out that she was pregnant. The abuse got worse during the start of the lockdown.
“Sinisipa sipa niya po ako. Parang halos kinukulong niya na po ako sa condo niya,” she said.
“Pinagbabawalan na lumapit ang suspect sa mag-ina,” a barangay official said.
The suspect is currently on the loose. Police said that Sandy will facing frustrated murder charges.
