Saudi Arabia is building the world’s highest elevated Muslim temple linking two towers overlooking the holy Kaaba in Makkah.
The Musallah, where Muslims pray, is nearly 161 metres high and has an area of around 400 square metres, accommodating over 200 people.
Phase 1 of the Musallah, which connects two high-rise towers overlooking Kaaba, has been completed and work is underway to finish phase 2.
Sada newspaper published pictures of the project and described the Musallah as the world’s highest facility of its kind.
