TasteAtlas has named Lumpiang Shanghai as the second best street food in the world. The food guide made the announcement in its Facebook account showcasing the Top 50 best street snacks in the world.
Lumpiang Shanghai gained an audience rating of 4.9. The traditional Pinoy snack is usually made with carrots, onions, meat and seasonings wrapped together.
The first place is Malaysia’s Roti canai which is a traditional pan fried flatbread made out of flour, water and eggs.

Lumpiang shanghai was also rated as among best Southeast Asian food last March together with Tortang Talong.
Lumpiang Shanghai has become a staple in Filipino gatherings and parties.
