Slovenia’s locals openly had mixed reactions as they welcomed the life-sized sculpture of the US first lady Melania Trump who is a native of Sevnica.
The pale blue dress that Melania wore during the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump was highlighted on the sculpture made from a linden tree.
Her face is depicted in a native local style, as per a report from LATimes.
The figured triggered different reactions of adoration and also criticism from the people of Slovenia especially that the first lady wasn’t able to visit her hometown since the inauguration of the US president.

The sculpture was made by U.S. artist Brad Downey.
An exhibition in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana will also showcase the said photo.
The first lady of the USA was born Melanija Knaus and later changed her name to Melania Knauss when she started modeling.
