Filipino expats from all walks of life came together to celebrate the 69th Anniversary of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) hosted by their local group, APO – Abu Dhabi Alumni Association (APO-ADAA) aboard a yacht that cruised from Abu Dhabi’s Marina area towards Mina held last March 1, 2019.
Over 50 of APO-ADAA’s members and guests joined in the celebrations with Bayanihan Chairman Elmer Casao in attendance. The event was spearheaded by the organization’s president, Garry Burnopp. The event also recognized and inducted their newest members in the organization.
APO-Philippines was founded in March 2, 1950. Their international organization was founded in December 16, 1925 at Lafayette College located in Easton, Pennsylvania.
