Dubai breaks another world record with biggest Christmas ornament

Dubai was able to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Christmas bauble ornament thanks to the huge Christmas decorations that has been hung up in The Dubai Mall.

The said Christmas ornament weighs 1,100 kg and measures 4.68 m (15 ft 4 in) in diameter. It was designed by American firm Venus Arts, and took two days to be assembled in the mall’s Star Atrium area, reported Guinness World Records.

The record was verified by an adjudicator and the certificate was presented with the attendance of the general manager of the mall.

Aside from the said record, The Dubai Mall also holds other world records, such as the Largest shopping center, the Largest shopping mall aquarium, the Largest high-definition video wall, and the Largest OLED screen display.
