Kapuso leading man Alden Richards said that despite a thriving career in show business and business ventures, he is still hoping to settle down, get married and have his own family in the next few years.
“Dapat by 35, kasal na ‘ko. ‘Yun po ang sinabi ko sa sarili ko,” Alden said in an interview with Ogie Diaz.
Alden said that he is not in a relationship now and his past relationships did not work out.
“Wala talaga, Mama Ogs, sa ngayon. Hinanap ko, ginusto ko siya, kaya lang parang mas hindi nag-wo-work pag pinipilit ko,” he said.
Alden said some of his relationships led to casualties and issues.
“Parang for some reason, one way or another, nagkakaroon ng casualty. One way or another, merong nagiging issue,” the actor said.
“The more ko siyang pinipilit, the more siyang nawawala.” He added, “Parang buhangin po eh, the more kang kumakapit sa buhangin, lalong kumakawala sa kamay mo.”
Alden said he wants to have babies and a wife and a complete family.
“’Yung mga babies po, ‘yan ang gustong gusto ko magkaroon talaga. Gusto ko po may asawa. Mahirap po ‘yung single parent. At tsaka ayoko po i-deprive yung anak ko na lalaki siya na tatay lang ‘yung kilala. Gusto ko buo ‘yung family,’ he said.
