Jason David Frank, who appeared in the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has died, according to his representatives, as per reports from entertainment news source Geek Ireland. He was 49 years old.
Frank rose to prominence in the early 1990s as Tommy Oliver, the green power ranger, who later becomes the white power ranger on a children’s television show about superheroes who are highly proficient in martial arts. The show spawned sequel films, action figures, and other products.
The cause of death has yet to be confirmed as of posting time, although various accounts claimed that Frank committed suicide.
Frank leaves behind four children, one from his second marriage to Tammie Frank and three from his first marriage to Shawna Frank.
