Jennylyn Mercado admits that she was shocked when she found out that she’s pregnant.
In an interview with Preview Magazine, Jennylyn and Dennis Trillo revealed that they are trying to have a baby since 2018.
In 2020, they decided to go to the United States for surrogacy.
The two are ready to sign the papers when Jennylyn felt something different.

She was shooting for a project when she suddenly felt uneasy and her period has been delayed for quite some time.
Jennylyn said that she does not have a pregnancy kit back then so she just used tarot cards which pointed out that she is indeed pregnant.
“Parang ang galing lang ng timing dahil nangyari pa rin ’yung gusto namin sa natural process talaga,” Dennis said.

“Halo-halong emotions ’yung naramdaman ko. Natakot ako para sa kanya kasi mag-isa lang siya doon. Health niya yung una kong naisip siyempre, tapos kung papaano ako makakatulong sa kanya kahit malayo ako,” he added.
Jennylyn was grateful that she was able to finish her lock-in taping.
For now, they have suspended their plans of doing surrogacy in the United States.
“Buti na lang, ayon, kumalma ’yung mga utak namin. Nag-decide kami na mag-focus muna kami dito,” the actor said. (TDT)
