Actress Coney Reyes couldn’t help but be proud of her son Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, who became a trending topic on social media over his actions against coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In an Instagram post, the actress shared a clip of Vico interacting with a sanitation personnel.
“Someone sent me this short video clip of my son. I thank God for his sense of humor (which I’m sure he got from his Papa) amidst all that we are experiencing as a people,” Coney wrote.
Sotto has gained popularity and support over his governance in Pasig on their response to the enhanced community quarantine and COVID-19.
Coney also thanked those who work alongside her son.
“Thank you so much to all the men and women who tirelessly work alongside Vico! Bilib ako sa inyo! Maraming Salamat sa walang patid na tulong at suporta!” she said.
