'Eat Bulaga' temporarily suspends admission of live studio audience guests amid COVID-19 threats

The Philippines’ longest running noontime variety show, ‘Eat Bulaga’, is also taking proactive approach to combat the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. 
 
In a post on its Facebook and Instagram accounts, Eat Bulaga stated that it will be temporarily suspending live studio audience participation during their show.

“The management of Eat Bulaga has decided to temporarily suspend the admission of a live studio audience in the airing of its show,” the statement said. 
 
The show says that this could help in preventing the virus spread and will protect their talents, staff, crew and members of its audience.

“Please understand that the decision was made after extensive and careful consideration in order to cooperate with the efforts of the government to contain the spread of COVID-19,” the statement added.
