Vice President Sara Duterte remains ahead of Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo in a hypothetical two-way contest for the 2028 presidential election, according to a new Pulse Asia survey commissioned by Stratbase Group.
Results of the survey, conducted from May 3 to 7, 2026, showed Duterte receiving 51% support compared to Robredo’s 41%. Eight percent of respondents said they were undecided or declined to state their preference.
Despite not being included among the survey choices, Senators Bam Aquino and Raffy Tulfo were also mentioned by some respondents as preferred presidential candidates.
For the vice presidency, the survey showed Senator Erwin Tulfo leading the field with 46% support.
He was followed by Senator Robin Padilla, who garnered 38%.
Respondents also mentioned Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Raffy Tulfo as possible choices for vice president.
The survey interviewed 1,500 respondents nationwide and carried a margin of error of ±2.5 percentage points.
The results come as political parties and potential contenders continue to position themselves ahead of the 2028 national elections, although no major candidate has formally launched a presidential campaign.
