The Department of Health (DOH) has disclosed the hospitals where the four new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were located.
The 7th case, a 38-year-old Taiwanese national, is admitted at Makati Medical Center.
According to DOH, the patient has a history of contact with a Taiwanese foreign national who visited the Philippines and tested positive for COVID-19 in Taiwan.
The 8th case, a 32-year-old Filipino who traveled in Japan within the past 14 days is admitted at St Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig.
The 9th case, 86-year-old American who had pre-existing hypertension and a history of travel to the USA and South Korea is receiving treatment at Medical City in Ortigas.
Meanwhile the 10th case, a 57-year-old Filipino is under medical observation at St. Luke’s Quezon City. He was reported to have had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
DOH announced Sunday evening four new cases of COVID-19, raising the total number to 10. They were tested on March 7 and their results came out the next day.
