Kapamilya celebrities rally behind network, #NoToABSCBNShutdown trends

Kapamilya celebrities took their sentiments online on the government’s move to revoke the franchise of television giant ABS-CBN.
Vice Ganda posted on Twitter how Filipinos around the world would be affected by the closure of the network.

“Ikalulungkot ng higit na nakararaming Pilipino sa Pilipinas at sa buong mundo kung isasara ang ABS-CBN. #NoToABSCBNShutDown,” he said.
Angel Locsin hopes that her prayer for people who could lose their jobs because of the shutdown will be heard.
“Praying that the law shall be used to protect jobs, press freedom, justice and betterment of the Filipino people,” Locsin wrote on Instagram.

Bea Alonzo wrote only a word with the ABS-CBN logo on it. “Kapamilya” she said.
“Ilang taon nagbigay saya, ligaya, inspiration, tulong, malasakit, kaalaman, at maraming iba pa saan ka man sa mundo,” Kim Chiu wrote.
