The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned what it described as Iranian terrorist attacks targeting Kuwait with missiles and drones.
In a statement, the ministry said the attacks represented a “flagrant violation” of Kuwait’s sovereignty and posed a direct threat to the country’s security and stability.
The UAE also expressed full solidarity with Kuwait and reaffirmed its support for all measures aimed at protecting the Gulf state’s security.
“The UAE expressed full solidarity with Kuwait and reiterated its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability,” the ministry said.
The condemnation came after Kuwait’s armed forces announced that its air defense systems had intercepted hostile missiles and drones attempting to penetrate Kuwaiti airspace on Thursday.
Authorities have yet to release further details regarding casualties or possible damage linked to the attempted attacks.
