Condolences pour in for actor Mico Palanca on social media

Messages of condolences have been pouring in since Monday evening (PH Time) on social media following news about actor Mico Palanca’s demise.

Netizens as well as colleagues in the showbiz industry sent out prayers to MIco’s family.

News of his death became the top trends on Twitter on Monday evening.

Actress Bianca Lapus also sent her condolences to the family. She likewise described how Mico was as a co-worker.

“I was able to work with Mico Palanca with John Lloyd and Bea for ‘It Might Be You’ at ABS-CBN. We were always together sa unit namin. Napakabait at magalang so even after the show ended I got to get him for mall shows,” Lapus tweeted.

News of his passing on first broke out after the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) expressed condolences to the family. It was ABS-CBN host Boy Abunda who then confirmed through Mico’s manager June Rufino that the actor has passed away.

It was this morning when the family released an official statement through Mico’s sister Erika Hocson via her Instagram account.

His younger brother Santi also posted the same statement.

He also shared about their time together with his older brother.

“I wish I could’ve done more. I’ll never forget our gym sessions and basketball talks. Rest easy kuya. I’ll miss you,” he wrote.
