Philippines’ Miss Universe bet Gazini Ganados shared that she is thinking about the possibility of using an interpreter at the prestigious beauty pageant on December 8.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News last week, Gazini said, “I will think about it because I would like to showcase the Bisaya language in the international arena. Of course, I am also a proud Bisaya myself. But then again I have to reconsider because not all people can understand that language.”
Gazini underwent speech trainings months before the competition.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe 1964 Gloria Diaz supports Gazini’s idea of using an interpreter during the Q & A.
“If that’s what will make them comfortable. And you know, when you have an interpreter, you have one minute to breathe so that’s a plus,” she said.
Gazini hopes to succeed reigning Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
