Kapuso hunk and actor Ruru Madrid has shared that there are things in the past that he is not proud of.
There were also moments in his life that motivated him to push his self’s limit and become the actor that he is today.
Ruru started his showbiz career when he joined the reality competition the ‘Protege’.
“Kasi, every time na naaalaala ko yun, parang bumabalik ako sa moment na sobrang hirap na hirap ako, na parang walang naniniwala sa akin. Yun ang time na parang napakaraming nagda-doubt, maraming walang bilib,” Ruru told Pep.ph.
Ruru also admitted that there was a point in his life when he courted all beautiful celebrities he met.
“Ganoon po ako kalala, lahat nang makita kong maganda, liligawan ko. Sasabihin ko talaga, ‘Type kita, puwede ba kitang ligawan o ide-date kita.’ Pero walang sumasagot sa akin, kahit sinong makatrabaho ko,” Ruru recalled.
Ruru then underwent an image transformation, hitting the gym and watching videos on how to become self confident.
“Right now, happy na ako kung anong meron ako ngayon, and hinding-hindi ko nakakalimutan ang mga bagay na yun “ Ruru added.
After reinventing himself, Ruru told Pep.ph that there were those who who rejected him in the past who are now expressing interest on him.
“Well, meron pong iba na, hindi po ako nagyayabang, pero, ‘Sayang, sana tayo na lang dati pa.’ May mga ganyan. Hahaha!” he said.
