LOOK: Young Filipinos don national costumes at first-ever Santacruzan during Philippine Independence Day celebrations in Dubai

The 121st Philippine Independence Day Celebrations (PIDC) have shown that appreciation for the culture, tradition, and heritage starts at a young age as the parade for the PIDC that’s ongoing at the Dubai World Trade Centre featured young Filipino fashionistas in their lovely national dresses and gowns!

Marcus Lance Magbanua and Noor Mohamed Lari was dressed up in traditional terno Filipiniana outfits designed by 2017 TFT Fashion Designer of the Year Aldwin ‘Jlo’ Ornopia.

Other kids also dressed up in colorful Barongs and Baro’t Sayas.
