Jodi Sta. Maria hopes to build clinic to help people with mental problems

Actress and Psychology student Jodi Sta. Maria said that she is planning on applying everything that she has learned in college by putting up a clinic to help those who are struggling with mental health problems.

During her interview on ABS-CBN’s morning talk show “Magandang Buhay”, Sta. Maria said that helping those with mental problems has always been her motivation to do well in school.

“I’m coming from a place wherein parang I want to be able to use kung anuman ang mga natutunan kong skills and knowledge sa school na magamit ko siya later on in life,” Sta. Maria said.

Sta. Maria, who has been a consistent Dean’s Lister, is on her final semester in college at Southville International School and Colleges. After graduating, the actress said that she is planning on expanding her knowledge by pursuing a Master’s degree.

Sta. Maria previously said that she would like to become a “guidance counselor or a rehabilitation specialist.”
