Nicko Falcis’ mother cries foul over Kris Aquino’s accusations

Dr. Carol Falcis, the mother of Kris Aquino’s former project and endorsement manager Nicko Falcis has spoken up about the television personalities allegations against her son.

It can be recalled that Kris filed lawsuits against Nicko for using funds worth P1.3 million from her production company for personal use. She also accused Nicko of mishandling her P40 million business investment. However, Nicko and his family have strongly denied Kris’ claims.

Through an Instagram post dated February 6, Dr. Carol broke her silence to defend her son.

“For the past 4 months, I have kept my silence because I trusted my kids to be capable enough of defending themselves,” Carol said in a statement posted on Nicko’s account.

She said that Kris’ “lies” have caused her to feel “worried” and “sad”, but the support and love they have been receiving from Filipinos who believe that Nicko is innocent made her “cry with tears of joy.”

Carol also said that her family is not “engaging in a trial by publicity”, since it was Kris who caused the issue to go public. She added that they only decided to respond to Kris’ accusations publicly as a form of defense from the latter’s “constant lies” and “death threats”.

“How can your lawyers forget the fact that you tried to destroy Nicko’s reputation publicly by posting in your IG, FB, Twitter, and Youtube last Sept. 22, 2018 regarding an alleged ‘betrayal of trust’ by your financial adviser! You implied someone stole your ‘life savings’ for your sons,” she said.

“Then you used your PAID MINIONS to slowly identify my son,” she said mentioning talent manager and showbiz columnist Lolit Solis for identifying Nicko in a radio show and on social media which she considered as “libelous”.

Carol also said that it was unfair that Kris was defaming her son’s reputation while Kris’ lawyer Atty. Sigrid Fortun commanded them to stay quiet.

Carol said: “Behind the scenes, you tried to bully my family into signing one-sided contracts, using as leverage the fact that you can destroy Nicko’s reputation even without naming him and more so if you name him!”

Nicko’s mother also said that she used to be a fan of Kris and was one of those who like the television personality’s “kaartehan”. However, what happened changed how she sees Kris.

” I am NOT and NEVER will be a “deeply shamed mother” as you shamelessly claimed in one of your IG posts and “Kris Life Updates” with Ana Pingol! That is completely untrue! I never wrote and I never said to you that I was deeply embarrassed,” she said.

Carol also empathize with Kris and said that she is hoping the latter will be cured from her autoimmune disease.

“As a mother, I hope she recovers from her autoimmune disease so that she can enjoy life with her sons just as I want to live the rest of my senior life with my kids in peace. I pray she comes to her senses,” Carol said.

However, she also warned Kris that “NO SICKNESS CAN ever JUSTIFY concocting lies, bullying, and making death threats!”

I WAS one of your fans because I liked your “kaartehan” and I thought you were honest. But now I know you're not! I never wrote and I never said to you that I was deeply embarrassed. Remember the Ten Commandments, “THOU SHALT NOT LIE.” You started with lies, we will end it with truths. I am glad she later admitted in one of her press cons that it was wrong for her to blame my son for her sickness.
