Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber is all about the Miss Universe hype and she definitely did not miss out on all the fun and celebration when the Philippines’ bet Catriona Gray was crowned the winner.
Barber took to Instagram to share how proud she is that Gray won the title saying that she believed in the Filipino-Australian beauty queen since day one.
After the Miss Universe preliminary competition on December 13, Barber became a trending topic among Filipino pageant fans after she posted on her Instagram Stories her thoughts on Gray’s performance.
“It’s interesting to see swimsuit and you have some contestants that are walking, and then you have coutries like Philippines who is walk-ing, okay?” Barber said in the video as she snaps her fingers and emphasizes Gray’s signature walk.
She also posted another video which she took while Gray was delivering her final word.
“Miss Universe 2018 is right there. Don’t play with me. Don’t play with me ya’ll. Crown her!” she said.
The other videos show Barber and her friends cheering while Gray was strutting during the swimsuit and long gown competition.

Barber is no stranger to Miss Universe as she also competed in 2017 when the pageant was held in the Philippines. She finished as a top 9 finalist.
Gray won the crown earlier today in the recently concluded Miss Universe 2018 held in Bangkok, Thailand.
