TNT Boys helps raise $8.3 million during Singapore President’s charity event

International sensation Filipino vocal group TNT Boys performed before Singapore President Halimah Yacob at the President’s Star Charity held last Sunday.

The trio—composed of Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Kiefer Sanchez—showcased their world-class singing abilities during the event with Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love Of All” and Beyonce’s “Listen.”

The President’s Star Charity is an event under the country’s President’s Challenge campaign that aims to raise funds for selected beneficiaries. This year’s event raised over $8.3 million, breaking the last year’s record of $7.7 million.

On a post via TNT Boys’ Facebook page, the trio expressed their gratitude to the Singaporean community and their fans. “It’s an honor to sing for Singapore’s president, Her Excellency Halimah Yacob. Thank you everyone for putting us where we at now. We love you all! We are so overwhelmed!,” they wrote.

The president of the Singapore is the third head of state TNT Boys has sung for after having performed before President Rodrigo Duterte and Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O’ Neill in Malacanang last May.
