Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista proved that she can easily turn the other cheek after receiving a below-the-belt comment from a certain basher on her Instagram account.
It all started when Evangelista posted a photo on the said social media platform showing her donning clothing pieces from Ferragamo.
Evangelista looked nothing but fierce in her dark-colored outfit consisting of a striped turtleneck, a high-waisted skirt, and a red sling shoulder bag.
“Redefining classics in Ferragamo,” Evangelista captioned the photo.
However, while many complimented Evangelista for looking stunning in the photo, a netizen named Jermaine Santos (jermainesantos9907) left a nasty comment that was totally uncalled for.
“Heart, your miscarriage is KARMA,” wrote the netizen.
It can be recalled that 33-year-old actress first revealed that she and her husband Senator Francis Escudero are expecting twins on May 12.
Unfortunately, Evangelista said that one of the twins did not survive only a week after the announcement. Last June, she said that she has lost the remaining baby, who she has already called “Mira”, too.
Since then, she has decided to focus on her work, her clothing line, and her art to cope with the suffering that came with her miscarriage.
But instead of replying to the basher with an equally catty response, Evangelista only left kind words to her basher.
“God has a plan. Never ever again come close to saying that. I may be helpless but God is watching. Don’t do it for me… do it for your soul. Fandom should never turn you into a monster. Ever. You should pray… God bless you,” she said.
