TV host and actress Anne Curtis had a bright idea in mind that will help solve traffic congestion on EDSA.
In a recent post on Twitter, Anne expressed on Twitter that she’s one among those who feel sad about the current condition of traffic on Manila’s longest and historic highway.
Dear Traffic sa Edsa,
Ang lala na po. Nakakasad.

While stuck in traffic, an idea popped in her head that might be very helpful for both motorists and pedestrians.
According to Anne, since many people tend to walk on the “somewhat footpath” to avoid traffic jams, it would be helpful to have a version of Bangkok’s “skywalk” where pedestrians can walk safely and conveniently.
Anne said that having a clean and decent walkway along EDSA would attract people to walk and get some exercise.
As I sit in the traffic on Edsa, I can’t help but wonder what it would be like if we had the sky walk along Edsa. I see people walking on our somewhat footpath, imagine if we had a decent walkway all along Edsa? North to South. That’s probably a good 12-15km walk?

Anne ended her series of tweets saying that if we ever have a skywalk, she might also end up walking to work.
I don’t think people would mind walking if it’s clean and safe. I would probably end up running to work in the morning if we had one. #Hopeful
