Lost wallet returned with extra money

A man from South Dakota in the United States was in complete shock after his lost wallet was returned to him with some extra cash.

Hunter Shamatt lost his wallet while on a flight to Las Vegas to attend his sister’s wedding. Inside the wallet was $60 (Php3,144) and a $400 check (Php20,963). Also inside the wallet were some of Shamatt’s identification cards.

While Shamatt was upset of the loss, he did not bother looking for them to focus on his sister’s wedding.

One day after Shamatt arrived back to his home in Brandon, South Dakota, a package arrived at his doorstep. Inside the package was Shamatt’s wallet with a letter and extra money.

“Hunter, found this on a Frontier flight from Omaha to Denver – row 12, seat F wedged between the seat and wall. Thought you might want it back. All the best,” the letter read.

“P.S. I rounded your cash up to an even $100 so you could celebrate getting your wallet back. Have Fun!!!,” it added.

Through social media, the man behind the letter was identified as Todd Brown. Shamatt sent Brown his own letter to thank him for his kindness.
