Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are in need of 1,150 workers in the field of medicine without any placement fee requirements, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced.
According to POEA, Saudi Arabia is seeking to hire 1,000 Filipino nurses while Abu Dhabi is looking for 150 emergency medical technicians, reported GMA News.
POEA added that no placement fee will be asked from the qualified applicants as the hiring of workers is a government-to-government deal.
For those who are interested to apply for the nursing position in Saudi Arabia, among the benefits are paid annual vacation with free round trip economy ticket, as well as free food and accommodation. This is on top of the Php58,000 expected monthly salary which would increase annually.
The requirements include, but are not limited to, at least two years of experience in operating and emergency rooms in hospitals, and being a registered nurse.
Interested applicants may send their application to POEA regional offices and main office until November 9 and November 16 respectively.
Applicants are also advised to check on POEA’s website or their offices for the authorized job orders of the job openings to avoid falling victims to illegal recruiters and scammers.
