Oyo Boy Sotto did not let a comment of a netizen pass. It all started when he posted a photo on his Instagram of his two eldest children Kiel, 10, and Ondrea, 6, who tried motocross racing in MX Messiah Fairgrounds.
“Congratulations to the both of you, Kiel and Ondrea! So proud of you! Thank you Lord for keeping them safe,” he captioned the photo.
However, one netizen wrote in a malicious comment.
“So proud of you [Oyo Sotto] kahit na anak si Kiel sa ibang lalaki ni Kristine, tinuring mo pa rin siyang own flesh and blood mo. Bihira sa ibang lalaki ang ganito,” the netizen wrote.
However, Sotto was quick to clarify the status of his son. “Hindi siya anak sa ibang lalaki. Kiel is our adopted son,” Sotto said.
Sotto and Hermosa got married in 2011. Aside from Kiel and Ondrea, they have two other children, namely Marvic Valentin and Kaleb Hanns.
The couple adopted Kiel before they got married.
In her moving post on Instagram in August, Hermosa posted a touching message for Kiel for coming into their life.
“And for that we thank you, Kuya Kiel! Since you were the 1st beautiful creature to teach us Challenge accepted! in the process, you taught Mama & Dada many things.. things we never thought we are even capable of. Things may not always be perfect for us, but i am certain that God is.
He was certain when He gave you to us. He knew that you will be the best Kuya to your siblings and that you will make Mama & Dada proud for the person that you are in Jesus. Mama loves you so much, Kiel. I believe and declare that you and your siblings shall fulfill the life God has prepared for all of you,” the actress posted.
