Makisig Morales gave an update on his upcoming wedding with his Filipino-Australian beauty queen girlfriend, Nicole Joson.
It can be recalled that the 21-year-old former child star announced on social media that he is now engaged by posting a photo on his Instagram account to introduce his fiancée.
For her part, Joson also uploaded a photo on her Instagram account showing her and Morales’ hands and a plate of desserts with the words “Will you marry me?” The proposal happened over a candlelight dinner in Sydney, Australia. Her engagement ring can also be seen in the said photo.
“He stole my heart, so I’m stealing his last name,” Joson wrote on Instagram.
A month after the announcement, Morales disclosed some details about the wedding in an exclusive interview with PUSH.
“After this trip dun muna ako sa Australia for a while. Pagpla-planuhan namin yung big day namin. Plano namin dun mag-settle dun talaga pero may plans din kami dito like may mga work din dito. Kukuha rin kami ng property dito para kahit papaano meron din kami titirhan dito,” he said.
He also said that he is planning on taking a hiatus from show business after settling down and move to Sydney to pursue a career in culinary. However, he is not completely closing his doors especially if there are offers from ABS-CBN.
Morales and Joson are set to tie the knot on June next year in their house in Australia.
