Singer and actor Rhap Salazar posted a photo on his Twitter account which was taken at the backstage of “X Factor UK”, which led many of his followers to speculate that he will be trying his luck at the said talent show.
Salazar did not give specific details about the photo he posted, but simply described his actual self as his ‘doppelganger’ who made an appearance on the show.
“So my doppelganger appeared on the X Factor backstage today,” he captioned the photo.

Through his vlog channel on YouTube, the 22-year-old singer revealed last August that he is currently in London and will be appearing in a television in the UK, though he did not mention if it is indeed the “X Factor UK”.
He also said that he has been auditioning for television roles but is yet to receive confirmation if he is accepted.
Recently, he posted a video on his Twitter account wherein he sang a cover of Sam Smith’s Grammy-winning song “Stay With Me” at a subway station in London.

Salazar is no stranger to singing competitions as he already competed alongside Makisig Morales in Sarah Geronimo’s “Little Big Star” during his younger years, wherein he was eventually hailed as the winner.
He has also won two awards at the 13th World Championships of Performing Arts as the Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World and the Junior Grand Champion Solo Vocalist of the World.
Salazar is also one of the Filipino artists who have appeared and performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the US.
