Kapamilya actress Alex Gonzaga responded to an online netizen who posted a negative remark about her upcoming movie, “Nakalimutan Ko Nang Kalimutan Ka”.
Twitter user @kemerutt0727, who Gonzaga referred to as a fan of Kapamilya love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, posted a tweet saying that the actress’ movie will not earn much ticket sales.
“I’m not buying the new movie of Alex Gonzaga. Hahaha! Amoy flop na naman! Sobrang OA lang ng datingan, eh. Try harder, teh,” the netizen wrote.
Gonzaga simply downplayed the netizen’s remarks and said that she would just let God decide how her movie’s box-office sales will turn out.
“Hi, KathNiel fan. Thank you for your comment about our movie but I must rebuke your words. I’ll let God dictate what [Nakalimutan Ko Nang Kalimutan Ka’s] outcome will be. Kumbaga sa X-Batallion, hayaan mo na sila,” Gonzaga wrote on Twitter.

The Twitter user has since deleted his tweet.
Shortly after, a fans club of Padilla and Bernardo replied to Gonzaga asking for an apology for how the netizen acted online.
“On behalf of [KathNiel fans] po, we’re sorry po,” the fans club said.
Gonzaga replied by saying she has no hard feelings towards Bernardo, Padilla, and their fans.
“I love KathNiel and their fans since Chillout days! Except siya [@kemerutt0727]. Congrats on THOU!” she said.
Gonzaga will be starring in the said film which will tell the story of Jaz who goes on a road trip with her best friend to cope with the struggles of a failed relationship.
The film was directed by former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Fifth Solomon and will also feature other celebrities such as Candy Pangilinan, Jayson Gainza, Loisa Andalio, and Alora Sasam, among others.
The film will hit Philippine cinemas on September 19.
