Adele asks fans to forgive her

English singer Adele has written to her legions of fans asking them to forgive her for indefinitely postponing her two concerts at Wembley Stadium because her vocal cords was damaged after a grueling world tour.

“I’m sorry. I love you. I’m so sorry, please forgive me,” read the letter to fans of the Grammy Awards winner of 2008 and 2012 posted on Twitter, reports The Sun.

Adele said in the letter she had done 121 shows and the two remaining schedules are the most special being in her own country.

“To not be able to finish is it is something I’m really struggling to come to terms with,” read the letter.

Adele was advised by doctors not to perform and she fears that the damage to her vocal cord is irreparable.

In 2011, she suffered a throat hemorrhage forcing her to cancel a US tour to undergo surgery.

Adele promised to refund the tickets of 98,000 fans who booked to watch her concerts in London.
