Cat looks like Pokémon’s ‘Pikachu’ after turmeric treatment

A cat in Thailand was accidentally turned yellow after its owner applied turmeric all over its body to cure its fungal infection.

Local reports said that owner Thammapa Supamas noticed her white cat with fungal infection, a reason she used turmeric—which has antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties—as a way to try to cure the it through natural means.

After the treatment, however, the cat was transformed into something that looks like the famous Pokémon character Pikachu.

The cat has since become viral on social media, with many netizens posting photos of the cat alongside the images of Pikachu.
