Arthur Tugade to undergo self-quarantine over COVID-19 exposure

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade has agreed to undergo self-quarantine over his possible exposure to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Good evening. DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade will be on self-quarantine following exposure to a person who recently tested positive for COVID-19,” DOTR Communications Director Goddess Libiran said in a text message.
The move comes after Finance Secretary Sonny Dominguez will also undergo self quarantine upon meeting a person who testdd positive for the virus.

“I was told that a fellow I met with last Thursday and Friday has tested positive for COVID-19 today. I have no symptoms but am self isolating now until I get tested,” Dominguez said.
Senators also voluntarily put themselves in isolation after a resource person in a hearing tested positive for the virus.
Senator Win Gatchalian and Nancy Binay both subjected themselves to quarantine.
The senate is also on lockdown for sanitation and disinfection.
