A six-month-old baby was infected with herpes despite the kissing ban imposed by her mother, The Sun reported.
Hollie Cruickshanks shared photos of her baby Oarlah, who had viral spots on her head, face and her left eye.
Fearing that her baby will go blind, Cruickshanks rushed her to the hospital where she was placed under observation.

“When I saw those, I was filled with horror. I knew she could be blinded because of it. The thought of her losing her sight was just devastating,” she said.
Fortunately, the baby’s eyesight was not affected, and her condition got better after 24 hours.
The 21-year-old mom said she wasn’t certain how her baby contracted the disease, but doctors said it could be transferred through touch.
Baby Oarlah, now 15-months-old, has fully recovered from the virus but her mother wouldn’t let anyone kiss her daughter.
