Reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray couldn’t contain her excitement for the next Miss Universe coronation night.
Not only will she turn over the crown this year. She will also be host the preliminary and national costume shows which will be held on December 6 at Marriot Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
“One of my favourite moments in my @missuniverse journey was undoubtedly the Preliminary and National Costume shows! ??
This year I’ll once again be on stage but as a host as this year’s #MissUniverse 2019 delegates show their best. ?,” Gray said in her Instagram post.
Accompanying her Instagram post is a photo of the iconic “Luzviminda” national costume that she donned for the Miss Universe 2018 competition. The costume represented the three major islands in the Philippines — the massive parol or Christmas lantern from Luzon, a tattooed bodysuit from indigenous Visayas, and T’boli headpiece and brass accessories from Mindanao.
The Miss Universe coronation night will be held on December 8 at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Steve Harvey will host again of the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world .
