Sharlene San Pedro admitted that she was surprised when her former Goin’ Bulilit co-star Alexa Ilacad accused her of bullying.
San Pedro addressed the accusations when she was interviewed by ABS-CBN News.
“Ang hirap kasi, ang ginamit niyang term is bullying,” San Pedro said.
The young actress also said she would never bully anyone because her brother was a victim of bullying in school.
San Pedro also shared that she felt betrayed with Ilacad’s recent statements.
“Para po sa akin, if she really thought we were friends ay sana lumapit siya sa akin, sana kinilir (cleared) niya po sa akin,” she said.
Ilacad accused San Pedro and other Goin’ Bulilit co-stars of ganging up on her during the time show alongside ex-lover Nash Aguas.
San Pedro said she tried reaching out to Ilacad when Ilacad and Aguas had a falling out.
“I approached her many times, kung bibilangin, tatlong beses ko siyang in-approach pero di pa siya ready to make amends,” San Pedro said.
“Ang alam k,o kaya siya nagtatampo sa akin kasi lagi kong kasama si Nash at lagi kong kausap si Nash, nu’ng naghiwalay sila, si Nash ay laging tumatawag sa akin. Alam mo naman ‘yung kaibigan mong brokenhearted, ‘pag ganun ay kailangan ng kausap,” she added.
San Pedro said she tried being quiet on the issue because she wants to give Ilacad a chance to explain her side of the story, only to find out that Ilacad has an issue against her.
“May history, may pinagsamahan, naging magkaibigan sa ‘Goin Bulilit.’ So parang nagulat lang ako na, ‘Ay, kaya pala hindi ako pinapansin nito kasi ito ‘yung isyu niya sa akin’,” San Pedro said.
