A Bangladeshi expat took home Dh1,000,000 in cash as he was named the 6th millionaire in the Al Ansari Exchange Rewards – Summer Promotion 2019 draw, which was held in Metropolitan Hotel, Dubai, Tuesday.
Abdullah Al Arafat Mohammed Mohsin, 30, from Chittagong, Bangladesh said during an interview that he would put the cash immediately in his bank account.
He is also planning to expand his tailoring and mobile accessories business with the cash prize.
Mohsin, who has been living in Dubai for almost nine years now, works as a mobile sales representative.
Meanwhile, two Filipinos, Neil Rey Aligan and Juvy Acain Villanueva, entered the final 9.
Villanueva made it to the final two, but Mohsin got the best luck to win the one million dirhams.
All finalists came from pre-drawn activity earlier this month. They were randomly selected from millions of entries. The final nine attended the final announcement.
Other winners include Khaldun Homidan from Jordan, who won a brand-new BMW X1 2019, and Abdul Hakeem and Seevayi Mustafa, both from India, received 1 kilo of gold each.
Last year, Pinay Gina Realuyo Soriano- 5th millionaire of the said raffle won the grand prize.
