Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto is in the middle of controversy after being dragged in the split of Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson. But even her social media posts are not immune.
On July 30, Barretto reported a poem on her Instagram account. It was originally written by @sheleanaaiyana and posted on @risingwoman account. The gist of the post was about pain, love, and moving forward.
“The first path is to hold onto our pain and carry out stories with us. / The other is to let love win. To do the work to keep our hearts open and our minds clear. / To move forward with presence and allow ourselves to receive all of the beauty and abundance we deserve,” the lines of her post read.
Bashers feasted on the comment section, posting hate messages.
The young actress deleted the post 30 minutes later. Barretto is being linked to Anderson, her leading man in the film “Between Maybes”.
The actor, meanwhile, is being accused of cheating Alonzo, his girlfriend for years.
In a press conference for her new project, Alonzo revealed the status of their relationship. “To my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me,” she said when asked by reporters if they really broke up.
