A three-year-old girl is a recent fatality in a crossfire between suspected drug pushers and policemen in Rizal province.
Myka Ulpina was used by her father as a “shield” when he realized that it was a buy-bust operation, as per a report from Inquirer.
Ulpina was the daughter of the drug suspect Renato Dolofrina, who was also the target of the police operation in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez town, Rizal on Saturday morning.
One of the policemen Staff Sergeant Conrad Cabigao acted as a buyer for the transaction. He was shot and later on died in the hospital. The toddler, on the other hand, died on Sunday.
The operation was conducted inside the residence of Dolofrina where he was killed along with another unidentified male companion.
