Sibling rivalry between JV Ejercito, Jinggoy Estrada intensifies online

The sibling rivalry between Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito is getting worse after the former seemingly mocked his half-brother in his battle for the last senate seat.

It all started when Estrada decided to concede his defeat in the senatorial race after placing 15th in the ranking.

Estrada said in a statement that he is congratulating senatorial candidate Nancy Binay in advance saying she deserves the final spot in the Senate.

“Kay Sen. Nancy, alam ko marami ka pang magagawa sa Senado na makakatulong sa ating mga kababayang mahihirap. Keep it up!

“You deserve to keep the 12th spot because you have a very big heart for the poor and you are the better person among others. Congratulations my friend,” Estrada said.

To recall, Binay, Ejercito, and Bam Aquino were having a tight race for the last spot in the Senate when Estrada released his statement.

Ejercito was also running under the campaign slogan “The Good One,” which Estrada countered by saying he’s “The Better One”.

After Estrada released his statement, Ejercito then posted a series of tweets reacting to what his half-brother said.

“I am still… The Good One,” Ejercito said in one tweet.

“Bitter, not me. It’s another person,” he added in another.

Ejercito said in a previous interview with GMA News that his half-brother’s senatorial candidacy might have hurt his chances of winning.

However, he said he is willing to make amends with Estrada in case they both get elected and have a seat in the Senate.
