A heartwarming moment between action star Robin Padilla and his grandson to Kylie Padilla was captured on video and quickly went viral.
Robin himself shared a clip of this precious moment on Instagram.
“Purihin ang nag iisang Panginoong Maylikha!!! Walang pinakamasaya sa isang lolo kundi ang mayakap at mabuhat ang isa sa unang apo Allah hu Akbar napakasarap iparinig sa kanyang tenga ang Adhan/call to prayer bilang unang pamana sa kanyang napakamusmos at matalas na pandinig,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
It was an emotional moment for Kylie as well since it was the first time when his father finally held in his arms her son, Alas.
Their encounter happened at the first birthday celebration of Robin and Mariel Rodriguez’s daughter Isabella.
Alas is Kylie’s son with Aljur Abrenica who, as of the moment, doesn’t share the best of relationships with his father-in-law.
Abrenica apologized to the latter during his guesting on ABS-CBN’s program “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last month.
“Kung mapapanood niya man ito, kung may nagawa man ako na sa tingin ninyo ay hindi maganda or naging kasalanan ko,” Abrenica said, “Humihingi na po ako ng sorry sa inyo.”
“Dahil si Kylie po, wala naman po akong balak pabayaan iyan… mahal ko po iyan,” he added.
