UAE to welcome Hollywood actor’s biz, Grammy-winning orchestra

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) in separate occasions is set to welcome Fast and Furious star Tyrese Gibson’s co-owned enterprise and Grammy award-winning Chamber Orchestra of Europe, according to reports from the Arabian Business.

The orchestra will play at the Dubai Opera on November 2 and 3, while Gibson’s custom jeep assembly business Voltron Motors is expected to set up shop in Souq Al Haraj in Sharjah.

“Our coming center in Souq Al Haraj will be the gateway for the mother company to the Middle East Region. We see the UAE as one of the major regional hubs that attract investors and entrepreneurs from across the world,” Gibson was quoted as saying.

This is not Gibson’s first visit to the UAE, noting that the country “offers attractive incentives and facilities to investors in all sectors.”

“It is a vibrant and attractive environment. All the international automobile brands are present in this market,” he said.

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe, on the other hand, will feature works by Mozart and Beethoven during their performance.

The Arabian Business said the orchestra is “widely renowned as one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world,” having “performed in some of the most prominent cultural venues in Europe.”

This list includes the Philharmonie in Paris, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus, the Cologne Philharmonie and the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.

“The Chamber Orchestra of Europe is widely regarded as the best in Europe and it’s fantastic they’ve agreed to bring two beautiful programs featuring some of the greatest music composed by Mozart and Beethoven to Dubai Opera this November,” Jasper Hope, Dubai orchestra chief executive, was quoted as saying.
